My Weak-End.

Truth be told, I am horrible at writing on the weekends.

That's probably because I lead an AWESOME life.
Maybe I am lying, and it's just because I am too lazy to blog on the weekends.
Oh well.

This weekend was quite eventful. On Friday I finished my first week at work. I had a great day making two sales at my company--Clearlink. I really enjoy it there! During my lunches at work, rather than going out to it I prefer finding inner peace and harnessing my chi. For me, that's only a longboard ride and some music away. At lunch I went to El Rojo and grabbed my my lunch and threw it in my mexican backpack. Grabbed the longboard out the trunk and like a banana, I split. I took a short ride to the other side of the large pond and this was my view.
Incredibly pleasant.

I went to Pace's to enjoy a rainbow with Briznitch and Scottipher. We then went to a car show in Bountiful.
I am in love with the old school chargers, I saw this baby and had to sit down and admire.
Even more pleasant.
And then there's this other picture....Smile for the camera!
By the way, I look like Eazy E. RESPECT.

Saturday was rather dull, I watched some MMA. The card in and of itself was rather mediocre to say the least and then the main card really failed to impress. However, one fight that did catch my attention was Connor Heun vs. Magno Almeida. Almeida was going submission crazy. He threw on an armbar that was bound to make Heun tap, he didn't. He gutted it out and won the fight. As the decision was being rendered you could see and out of place elbow. Heun has cahones.

Sunday was remarkable for two reasons. A, it's Father's day. I love you DAD! B, Khyrie and James are getting married. It's official. Awesome! Mother Nature wanted to show her excitement, she left this beautiful treasure as a sign.
Oh Utah, You're kinda beautiful..

The Church of Sushi

For those of you who don’t know, I am infatuated with Sushi and would love for the whole world to feel the same way. It’s just so amazing especially at Fuji Sushi by Firehouse in Centerville, Utah. What a gem. Unfortunately not many people love Sushi and the majority of those who don’t enjoy it have never tried it! The solution? Missionary work. Find investigators and help convert them…ha ha.

Today I took Mom and Dad to go get some Sushi. Mom is a convert; she loved the volcano roll she had. Dad wouldn’t get the Vegas roll…even though he would have loved it….and maintains the stance that he still doesn’t like sushi. I think he’s just saying that to win. Or not, I’ll never know:)

Here is what Mom and Dad had:

Volcano Roll

Here is what I had…delicious:

Spicy Maki Combo which consists of…Spicy Tuna Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, & Spicy Crab n Avocado Roll.

Furthermore, El Rojo is back in commission. If you look closely in this photograph you will see that this beast passed inspections. Stoked to drive this around this summer. OG Status for sure.

Best Thing EVER

I stumbled upon something phenomenal today. What is it do you ask? Unicorns? Bob Ross? Bob Ross painting Unicorns?? No. BETTER! That good? YES. Without a doubt. I stumbled upon the greatest website known to man.

Don't worry, it's not anything sketchy. Just absolutely hilarious. Here is a preview:

Okay, I told you it was amazing. You can thank me later. Anyways, completely unrelated side note, I'm an avid hockey fan/player so I've got to shout out to the Bruins for winning the Stanley Cup tonight. Mad props for winning--way to keep Lord Stanley's Cup where it belongs....IN THE US! Not that I don't love Canada....The Cup just belongs in the States.

THROWDOWN. Minus the whole Bobby Flay action and ya know the food aspect...
I have been challenged. The gauntlet has been thrown down. In the comments in my last post Brissa challenged me to a “get some competition.” I, of course, obliged to thee tournament in question.
It is summer. Time for the get some challenge. Rules are simple and go as follows:

#1 Repeats do not count.
#2 Quality does not matter.
#3 Two minute minimum.
#4 Names are not required just sufficient proof i.e. It happens at a club your homies can serve as a witness(es)
#5 I will beat you so just give up.

Prize(s) TBD.

Here is a song for some motivation. BEST OF LUCK.
Well, at least the link:

Relationships Are A Winter Sport.

Today was my first day at my new job. Needless to say it was a hectic morning. I couldn’t decide what to wear. I decided what to wear, threw it in the dryer to help it de-wrinkle a tad bit prior to ironing when I changed my mind. I changed my mind and then had to iron another shirt, this is all while trying to eat breakfast, make a protein shake, shower, and stop from going crazy. It’s not that I was nervous or anything about going to work or anxious or anything like that but it was just the change to my schedule. Which was rough. I went to work and had a phenomenal first day. I really did enjoy it! It was a lot of paperwork, but it was not stuffy and uptight. I liked that.

I went to the gym tonight, I’m exhausted and now it’s time to eat. However, something to think about…Relationships are a winter sport. It’s summer, time to be single, get ready to mingle. Mmmhm, date date date, girls girls girls, gonna be a GREAT summer!

Haters Gonna Hate.

It's somewhat frustrating when you have an idea and almost instantaneously people try to knock it down. It's ridiculous. The Steeze Factory will be a lifestyle blog with a focus on fashion. Yesterday a lovely soul said to me, "You're a well dressed guy." Brissa(my sister--follow her @http://brissalaura.blogspot.com/) and I thought to ourselves at the same time...AAAAND I'm--and in Brissa's case, he's--straight! I am very into fashion, and I am very straight. Many would consider this an oxymoron due to the fact that not many men can dress themselves and pull it off successfully. I do not fall in to that category. I like to dress and dress well. Haters gonna hate, nothing I can do bout it but take it in striiide.

I would write more however I am short on time due to the fact that I begin my new job at Clearlink tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Fashionable, straight, and proud.

the beginning.

Once upon a time I had a blog called http://onevoicetobeheard.blogspot.com I started it as I ventured off into the world. It documented my experiences moving from Utah and all the comforts of home to Chicago where I attended Loyola University of Chicago. I was there for a semester and blogged religiously. I then stopped writing when I went to Utah State University for some unknown reason. I jumped back on the blogging train when yet again another life changer came—I went on an LDS Mission. While I wasn’t the one in charge of the blog I was the one in charge of the content albeit vicariously. I came home from my mission and yet again the blogging stopped.

I have noticed a pattern: every time I am embarking on something life changing…I blog. So, what is that life changer you may ask? I’m getting a job and am trying to get back into school all while trying to figure out my life. This is first job I got completely on my own. The first job with the potential to help me get me feet beneath me so I can take off running in the world as an unstoppable force. Getting back to school after some substantial separation. The age old question: what am I going to do with my life. Where will this journey take me? I don’t know, but the enthusiasm I feel is phenomenal. Buckle up kids, it’s gonna get bumpy.
